Middlesbrough fight back to hold Millwall in Championship

Middlesbrough staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 2-2 draw with Millwall in the Championship, while Lincoln emerged victorious in a 1-0 win against Bristol City on Tuesday. Middlesbrough controlled over 80% of possession against Millwall but trailed 1-0 at halftime due to goals from Tairyk Arconte and Lyndon Dykes. Arconte scored from an off-target header in the 11th minute, and Dykes added another in the 36th minute.

However, Middlesbrough bounced back after half-time, with Amario Cozier-Duberry netting his second goal since joining on loan from Brighton with a deflected effort in the 50th minute. Will Lankshear, signed from Tottenham in the summer, headed in his eighth goal of the season from a poor marker by Lyndon Dykes in the 61st minute, securing a point for Middlesbrough and lifting them to third place, just behind leaders West Ham and second-placed Swansea on goal difference.

In contrast, Bristol City suffered their first defeat under new manager Michael Skubala as they lost 1-0 to former club Lincoln. Skubala took charge of City after guiding the Imps to promotion from League One last season. Ben House intercepted a miscued back-pass by Rob Dickie in the 53rd minute, allowing Freddie Draper to score unopposed and lift Lincoln to eighth place in their first season in the second tier in 65 years.
