Manchester United under-21s learn new fixture date for Manchester derby with City

Manchester United's under-21s team has discovered the revised date for their upcoming Manchester derby against Manchester City. The youth side has been making a strong start to the season, securing two wins from just two games in the Premier League 2. They defeated Ipswich 5-0 and Leicester City 4-1, showcasing a formidable performance with nine goals in just two matches. The club currently sits in fifth position in the league, just one point behind the top spot.

Unfortunately, the under-21s missed out on playing the Manchester derby this weekend as the match was called off. However, the club has announced that the fixture has been rescheduled for Monday, 5th April 2027, at 19:00 BST. The game will be played at the City Football Academy, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the youth tie. United's under-21s will next face Brentford away from home in a Friday evening match.
