Luka Doncic’s coach recalls easy decision to leave ‘worst guy’ Jason Kidd for Kobe Bryant’s ex-teammate

Igor Kokoskov, the former head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, recently spoke out about his decision to leave the team and join the Brooklyn Nets in 2022. In a scathing interview with X&O’s Chat, Kokoskov revealed that he was unhappy with Jason Kidd’s coaching abilities, describing him as "the worst guy" in the NBA. Kokoskov had previously worked with Kidd for a year and even sat down with him to discuss his concerns.

However, Kidd could not overcome his personal issues and this ultimately led to Kokoskov’s departure from the Mavericks. In his new role with the Nets, Kokoskov was able to work with the "best guy" in the NBA, Kobe Bryant’s ex-teammate, Luka Doncic. Unfortunately, Kokoskov's departure from the Mavericks could make it difficult for him to land another head coaching opportunity in the NBA.
