Noah Wyle claimed best drama actor honors for his portrayal in The Pitt, while Rhea Seehorn secured the best drama actress award for Pluribus. Mariska Hargitay hosted the ceremony, deviating from the customary comedian on the podium and joking about the pressure and her arrest record on SVU.

The awards recognized several exceptional series and productions. The Pitt was crowned best drama series, followed by The Diplomat, Gilded Age, and Pluribus as other winners in the drama category. On the comedy side, Abbott Elementary triumphed, joining The Bear, Hacks, and Widow's Bay as winners. Standout performances included Matthew Rhys leading the drama actor category, Jean Smart securing her fifth Emmy in comedy, and Kate O’Flynn making history as the first African American woman to win in this category.
