KP Launches New System to Solve Public Issues

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a new system to handle public complaints against government agencies. Citizens can file grievances via an official email address or WhatsApp number. Each complaint will be assigned a unique diary number and acknowledgment receipt. Departments must designate a focal person to oversee and resolve complaints, with special focus on cases involving corruption, bribery, or abuse of power.

The system mandates thorough audits of government, financial, and electronic records to ensure fair investigations. Authorities have assured strict confidentiality for complainants and sensitive information, with exposure or leaking of such details considered official misconduct. Upon receiving a complaint, officials will compile a detailed report with recommendations based on gathered evidence, facts, and figures. If investigations reveal corruption or irregularities, legal action will be taken.

Departments are instructed to promptly forward serious complaints to the relevant authorities. This new initiative aims to improve transparency and accountability in government services and administration.
