Judge blocks new Trump inscription on Kennedy Center

Former US President Donald Trump expressed concerns over the structural integrity of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., following a piece of ceiling concrete and steel falling from a busy main corridor. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump warned of serious risks to the center's safety, stating that the incident could have led to casualties if the building had been open to the public.

He highlighted that a security guard had passed through the area just one minute before the ceiling collapse, placing him within 60 seconds of danger. Trump criticized a court decision allowing the building to remain open despite the absence of performances or audience, noting that the Kennedy Center's board had overwhelmingly favored saving the center.

He claimed he could raise the necessary funds and oversee the reconstruction, drawing upon his previous role and the perceived influence of the presidency to restore the center to its original condition. Trump emphasized that the center was losing hundreds of millions of dollars when he assumed leadership, clarifying that he was not accountable for those financial losses.
