IEBC announces fresh voter registration drive in Ol-Kalou

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in Kenya will conduct a month-long Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise in Ol-Kalou Constituency starting from September 21, 2026, and concluding on October 20, 2026. This initiative aims to facilitate voter registration ahead of the 2027 General Election.

The ECVR process will be daily, from Monday to Sunday, enabling residents to register as voters throughout the designated period. Services will be available at various locations including County Assembly Ward level, Constituency Offices, selected Huduma Centres, and institutions of higher learning within the electoral areas. Additionally, voters can register at the IEBC Customer Experience Center situated on the ground floor of Anniversary Towers.

Eligible residents in Ol-Kalou are encouraged to utilize this opportunity to register as voters. Following the completion of the ECVR exercise on October 20, 2026, Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and regular revisions of the Register of Voters will continue at the Constituency Office. These services will be accessible from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 8 am and 5 pm.

This ECVR exercise is part of the IEBC's ongoing efforts to update the Register of Voters in preparation for the upcoming 2027 General Election.
