Guy Pearce Reveals How He Unlocked Rupert Murdoch for Danny Boyle’s ‘Ink’

"Ink," a Danny Boyle-directed adaptation of the stage play chronicling the creation and ascent of the British tabloid The Sun, is set to debut on Netflix later this year in the United States. Prior to its release, the film will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Guy Pearce plays the role of Rupert Murdoch, the Australian magnate who becomes the Sun's new owner, while Jack O'Connell portrays editor Larry Lamb.

The latter passed away in 2000, and Murdoch is currently 95 years old.
