Gurugram hit-and-run case: Biker Sia breaks silence asks, ‘Why is police not arresting him?’

Sia, the victim of a hit-and-run incident on Gurugram's Golf Course Road, has broken her silence in a video statement, strongly denying the claims made by the accused driver. In the video, Sia played an audio clip of the accused driver's televised interview, where he claimed that Sia was repeatedly accelerating, slowing down, and pinching vehicles, and that he was unaware a woman was riding the two-wheeler.

Sia questioned the logic behind the driver chasing her, stating, "What right does that give you to chase me all the way?" She also dismissed the driver's claim of not knowing her gender, saying, "Obviously, I have very long hair tied in a braid at the back. You saw that, you pulled up, you made gestures, and you told me to stop the bike."

Sia highlighted the camera recordings of the collision, asserting that they clearly show the driver's actions, and questioned why he fled the scene immediately after the crash instead of offering assistance. She concluded by calling out the driver's remorseful claims in media interviews, stating, "I don't think it suits him at all."
