Government First: Inter-departmental co-operation is key, say start-ups on Karnataka initiative

H.D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, has vowed to continue criticizing the Karnataka government and is set to reveal details that could garner national attention. During a visit to Ranganatha Swamy temple in Mavinakere, Hassan, on September 15, Kumaraswamy claimed that the government was aware of his nephew Prajwal Revanna, a former MP and rape convict, possessing a mobile phone while in prison, yet chose to highlight the issue now to divert focus from other pressing matters like the KPSC scam, Bidadi and NICE projects.

Kumaraswamy stated, "I will speak without fear or hesitation. Whatever issues I raise, I raise in the interest of the State, not out of any personal envy towards anyone." He emphasized that the constitutional pillars need to address these issues. Kumaraswamy also mentioned that he would not comment without proper documents and intended to disclose the details on Vijayadashami, the festival in October.

He accused the government of raising the phone issue to distract from the KPSC irregularities, farmers' protest over land acquisition for Bidadi township, and the court's decision on the NICE project. The former Chief Minister addressed a report alleging that his nephew had a mobile phone in Parappana Agrahara Central prison in Bengaluru and questioned why the government didn't act earlier, who provided him with the phone, and how the phone managed to contain obscene videos.
