Gemini Live's overview page lists Deep Research among its supported capabilities. Initially introduced as a standalone capability for Gemini Advanced in 2024, Deep Research Max later expanded its reach in 2026.

The key change with Gemini Live's integration is the combination of voice conversation with access to Deep Research reports.
