ExxonMobil Qatar supports new training facility at Teach For Qatar to advance STEM education and innovation

Doha, Qatar - ExxonMobil Qatar is reinforcing its dedication to education and STEM learning in the country by backing a new training center at Teach For Qatar. This facility will serve as a hub for professional development, innovation, and community learning, allowing ExxonMobil and Teach For Qatar to build on their strategic partnership since 2014.

The new training facility will accommodate over 700 trainees annually through various programs such as professional development workshops, leadership initiatives, and capacity-building experiences. It will cater to Teach For Qatar fellows, alumni, teachers, and the broader community, providing high-quality learning experiences centered around innovation and leadership.

With ExxonMobil Qatar's support, Teach For Qatar plans to expand its STEM-related initiatives, giving learners a chance to collaborate, develop practical skills, and enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. The facility will also be stocked with resources to prepare participants in areas like Arabic, Mathematics, Science, and English.

Taher Hamid, ExxonMobil Qatar's President and General Manager, emphasized the company's belief in expanding access to quality learning as a means to foster long-term growth and development. Meanwhile, Teach For Qatar CEO Nasser Al Jaber expressed pride in strengthening the partnership with ExxonMobil Qatar through the new training center, stating it will provide enriched learning and development opportunities for more than 700 participants each year.
