Ex-Synapse Partner Lineage Bank Rebrands as Harpeth in Community Banking Pivot

Lineage Bank, a Tennessee-based institution that was once a Synapse partner bank, has undergone a rebranding process and is now known as Harpeth Bank & Trust. The name change was announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday, September 15, and comes with a renewed dedication to community-focused banking practices. According to Harpeth Bank & Trust, this transition emphasizes meaningful relationships, local decision-making, and genuine investment in the people and businesses they serve.

The decision was prompted by a consent order issued by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on July 31, which required Lineage Bank to submit several plans for improvement. Adding to the development, Recap Financial Ventures acquired a majority interest in Lineage Financial Network in March. With the new name, Harpeth Bank & Trust aims to expand its capabilities, welcome new team members, enhance technology, and strengthen its commitment to Middle Tennessee communities.
