Evvy Raises $40M to Expand AI Women’s Health Diagnostics

Evvy, a New York-based startup founded in 2021, has raised $40 million in Series B funding to advance its precision women's health diagnostics platform. The oversubscribed round was led by Catalio Capital Management, with participation from Rethink Impact, Muse Capital, Alumni Ventures, Labcorp Venture Fund, General Catalyst, and Left Lane Capital. The total funding now stands at nearly $60 million.

Evvy's platform utilizes metagenomic sequencing to analyze over 700 vaginal microbes from a single sample collected at home. Clinicians review results through the company's platform, providing patients with clinical interpretations and personalized treatment pathways. The platform also supports longitudinal biomarker tracking.

Since launching, Evvy has served over 100,000 patients across the United States and works with more than 3,000 practitioners. The company has generated peer-reviewed research, identifying new bacterial vaginosis subtypes and cataloging previously uncatalogued vaginal microbiome genomes. Evvy aims to connect microbiome biology with symptoms, treatments, and health outcomes, filling the gap in high-quality female health data needed for precision medicine and AI-driven healthcare.

The latest funding will support Evvy's expansion into fertility, studying vaginal microbiome data's role in understanding IVF outcomes and other reproductive health challenges. The company will also expand its distribution through physician and partner channels, with a long-term vision of providing a data-rich alternative to traditional screening methods for various women's health conditions.
