Civil Defense declares end of danger in Jazan, Abha and Khamis Mushait

The Saudi Civil Defense has instructed residents in Jazan, Abha, and Khamis Mushait to adhere to safety measures following the issuance of an emergency early warning alert. The General Directorate of Civil Defense has encouraged individuals in these regions to follow safety procedures after receiving an alert via the National Emergency Early Warning Platform, indicating potential danger.

Civil Defense stressed the importance of remaining calm and heeding official instructions, advising people to remain indoors, relocate to an internal room, or seek refuge in a secure area away from windows. They were also warned against leaving their homes or buildings until the threat has subsided. Additional precautions recommended include avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops.

Those outside were instructed to enter the nearest building or find cover behind a sturdy barrier. The Directorate highlighted the necessity of avoiding gatherings, taking photographs, and remaining clear of hazardous locations. Motorists receiving a warning message while driving were advised to pull over safely away from bridges and tall structures.

Residents were urged to dial the emergency number (911) in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or (998) in other regions of the Kingdom, if any danger is observed. The Directorate emphasized the significance of following instructions provided by relevant authorities through official channels and complying with them.
