Chief of Staff fulfils GH¢200,000 pledge to Bii-Kunuto Educational Fund

Dr. Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff, has honored his pledge of GH¢200,000 to the Bii-Kunuto Educational Fund, which aims to support educational opportunities for deserving but financially challenged students in Gonjaland. This pledge was made during the Yagbon Damba Festival when Dr. Debrah was the Special Guest of Honour. His decision to fulfill the pledge was motivated by the commitment of His Royal Majesty Jira Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, the King and Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, to providing educational avenues for talented but economically disadvantaged students from Gonjaland.

The Chief of Staff's gesture was a direct result of his admiration for the Yagbonwura's efforts in supporting a local resident to pursue professional pilot training, with the ultimate goal of becoming the first pilot from Gonjaland. The donation was presented on behalf of Dr. Debrah by Dr. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana, the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi.

The Bii-Kunuto Educational Fund expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Debrah for his significant contribution and his dedication to advancing education and youth development in the Gonja Kingdom. They also commended the Yagbonwura for his unwavering commitment to education and the growth of young people in the region.
