British man attacked by knife-wielding motorbike robbers

British national Kumar, 45, was attacked by two men on a motorcycle in Pattaya early Monday, according to the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation and local police. The assault occurred at the entrance to Soi Jomtien 15 in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi province. The victim was found with bruises and what appeared to be a cut on his left temple and ear.

Duetdao Theewadwad, a 20-year-old convenience store employee, informed the police that Kumar sought assistance at the shop after being attacked. Kumar claimed that the assailants, two Thai men who seemed intoxicated, were riding alongside him on a motorcycle before launching the attack. One of the men allegedly threatened Kumar with a sharp object and attempted to rob him, during which Kumar resisted and the pair failed to take his mobile phone.

The attackers fled the scene on their motorcycle after the unsuccessful robbery attempt. Police have requested Kumar to file a formal complaint and are now investigating the incident, including reviewing CCTV footage and exploring the surrounding routes. They are actively pursuing leads and tracking down the suspects for legal action.
