Blizzard finally told players where the big sword in WoW went after 8 years, and I'm just bummed out a reveal this cool was in an interview somewhere

For eight years, gamers have been wondering what happened to the massive sword Sargeras attempted to plunge into Azeroth's heart at the end of World of Warcraft: Legion. The sword, known as the Worldsoul, has become a meme and a source of speculation. However, in an interview with WoWHead, associate game director Paul Kubit revealed that the sword was actually located in a screenshot of Azeroth's worldsoul, with a jagged spike pointing towards it.

Blizzard has acknowledged the significance of the sword and stated that it will become apparent as players progress through Eclipse. The Worldsoul, a powerful entity, could have potentially prevented Sargeras from turning the sword into a Dark Titan, but its immense power also posed a risk to the entire planet.
