Atresmedia vende el 5% que mantenía en Fever por 227 millones

Atresmedia Corporation has successfully sold its remaining stake in the entertainment platform Fever for approximately 227 million euros. This transaction, completed in 2023, yielded positive net results of 205 million euros in taxes, according to a report submitted to the Spanish stock market regulator, CNMV.

The sale adds to Atresmedia's previous divestments in Fever, totaling 296 million euros and generating a post-tax profit of 264 million since its initial investment in the company in 2015. Atresmedia's involvement with Fever began through a Spanish subsidiary operation, followed by a 2018 acquisition of a stake in Fever Labs.

Fever has undergone significant growth and international expansion since its inception, establishing itself as one of the leading global technology platforms for leisure and entertainment experiences. The acquisition of Atresmedia's stake in Fever concludes a strategic investment process that has created substantial value for the company and aligns with Atresmedia's active management policy towards its stake portfolio.

As of the current trading session, Antena 3 and La Sexta owner Atresmedia's shares are priced at 5.21 euros on the Spanish stock exchange, having experienced more than an 11% increase in value throughout the year.
