Both new watches have now gone on pre-order with a release date set for September 18, which falls on this upcoming Friday. Shoppers can save $9 on the Apple Watch Series 12, which is available in both GPS and Cellular models. This particular watch boasts Apple's "most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable," and it offers 24-hour battery life in regular use, with up to 12 hours of battery life after a 15-minute fast charge.

Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 is a more rugged device designed for fitness enthusiasts and outdoor aficionados. This model is also available in a single size (49mm) and comes with both GPS and cellular connectivity. The Ultra 4 is said to have "multi-day" battery life, capable of tracking fitness activities from hiking and triathlons to strength training and mountain biking. It also features fast-charge technology that provides up to 18 hours of use after just a 15-minute charge.

Both watches also include Apple's latest technology called audio intelligence. This feature can transcribe the last 15 seconds of audio it detected, allowing users to catch up on missed conversations. Additionally, it can summarize conversations, meetings, or lectures using Siri Recap.

Although the discounts on these upcoming Apple Watch models are relatively small, they still amount to $9 or $19.
