ADX builds digital asset wallet and tokenisation capability for on-chain investments

Dubai's Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange is constructing digital asset wallet and tokenisation capabilities to bolster its infrastructure for on-chain assets and forthcoming digital investment products. The exchange has entered into a strategic partnership with digital asset custody technology provider DFNS to access enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure for digital assets.

This collaboration aims to facilitate the issuance, listing, and trading of digital assets, while equipping ADX with the necessary technology to develop integrated wallet and tokenisation capabilities. DFNS, established in 2020, offers wallet infrastructure utilized by banks, fintech companies, and other entities for on-chain transactions, supporting workflows across over 30 blockchains and 1,000 tokens.

The partnership aligns with ADX's broader digital assets strategy, which includes the listing of digitally native bonds and the development of tokenised equities. Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of the ADX Group, stated that integrating secure digital asset wallet and tokenisation technology into their ecosystem will establish a robust foundation for a wider array of on-chain products and services, advancing Abu Dhabi's position as a globally connected hub for the next generation of capital markets.
