명지대, ‘2026학년도 도서관 전자정보박람회’ 개최…전자자료 활용법·AI 서비스 소개

On September 10th, Hongik University's Library successfully hosted the '2026 Academic Year Digital Information Exhibition' at the Interactive Garden on the 1st floor of the Literature Campus Building. Organized by the Library's Academic Information Processing Team, this exhibition aimed to introduce and enhance the utilization of various digital resources provided by the library for undergraduate and graduate students and faculty members.

The one-day event featured 16 academic and content-related companies showcasing a diverse range of digital information services, including electronic journals (DBpia, KISS, Scola, e-Article, ReAnn, Westlaw), web databases (EBSCOhost ASU·BSC, Web of Science), e-learning platforms (Bom Gapak, Eduwell, KoreaA2Z), and electronic books and journals (Moajin, Publishers, Korean Publishing, North Cube, Audionoise).

The exhibition provided individualized training sessions catering to each organization, with a notable AI-focused seminar attracting significant attention. The seminar, held in the 3rd-floor minor lecture hall of the Literature Campus Building from 2 PM to 3 PM, highlighted effective scholarly information search methods and paper analysis techniques using DBpia's AI features, thereby strengthening the students' practical research and learning skills.

Alongside, a competition for gift vouchers among survey participants, a stamp tour based on the number of visits to educational booth during the event, and a lucky draw event were also organized to encourage active participation.

Student Minhyun (majoring in Political and Foreign Affairs, Class of 2026) expressed gratitude for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the school's various electronic book services and their utilization methods through the exhibition. Meanwhile, student Gyeonggyun (majoring in Applied Statistics, Class of 2026) acknowledged learning about the availability of various electronic books for free use with a school account, and planned to actively utilize them for assignments and research in the future.
