WhatsApp Business Platform pricing in rupees is set to change on October 1, 2026. Until mid-2025, Meta charged per 24-hour conversation, but since July 2025, it charges per template message delivered. Free-form, non-template messages have not been charged since November 2024. In India, the rates are as follows: Marketing - ₹0.8631, Utility - ₹0.1150, Authentication - ₹0.1150.
As of October 1, 2026, Service messages will also start being charged at the same rate as utility and authentication in the user's market (₹0.1150 per message).
