visionOS 27 is here for Apple Vision Pro with these new features

Apple has launched iOS 27, the latest version of its iPhone operating system, to the public. Among the new features, users can try out the highly anticipated Siri AI, which can perform tasks and answer questions like other AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude. Siri AI is integrated within the iOS experience and even has its own dedicated app. Users can now customize Siri AI's voice, pitch, tone, and accent.

The Weather app has also received updates in iOS 27, with new tabs for day's weather, a written summary of weather expectations, and a Highlight feature. Meanwhile, AirPods now come with a three-band equalizer for improved audio control, allowing users to adjust bass, mids, and highs in real-time.

Apple's new Liquid Glass design for iPhones has been tweaked for better refraction and contrast. Users can alter the design's appearance using a new slider. Additionally, there is a fix for accidental dictation button taps in Messages, which now allows users to disable the dictation button entirely.

When it comes to bill splitting, iOS 27 streamlines the process, enabling users to take a picture of a receipt and have the device automatically generate an itemized list. The feature also takes care of tax and tip calculations. For those with Android or Windows phones, iOS 27 enables album sharing between iPhone and non-Apple devices. Lastly, iPhone Handoff lets users have both an iPhone and foldable iPhone Duo, switching between devices for phone calls and messages as needed.
