Unneccesary ‘beefs’ taking attention from good songs – Afriyie Wutah

Highlife musician Afriyie Wutah has called upon musicians and music enthusiasts to redirect their focus away from unnecessary industry feuds and offer more support to the music currently being released. This advice comes as social media debates surrounding disputes between prominent artistes, most notably the current tension between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, have become the primary topic of conversation within Ghana's music community.

According to Afriyie Wutah, the ongoing emphasis on the verbal sparring, responses, and insults exchanged by these artists is gradually pushing aside the actual music that is being produced. He believes that songs released by the artists deserve the same level of attention and enthusiasm that their fans typically reserve for conflicts and online exchanges involving celebrities.

In a Facebook post, Afriyie Wutah stated, "Unnecessary beefs between musicians are taking attention from the good songs other musicians are releasing." He pointed out that fans often spend hours arguing about an artist's statements or choosing sides in a feud, while simultaneously paying little to no attention to the songs that could potentially gain more recognition and engagement through streams and interactions.

Consequently, Afriyie Wutah is urging fans to invest more time in promoting these songs instead of allowing disagreements between artists to dominate their online discussions.
