‘That, sir, is absolutely class’: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s gesture for Indian driver wins hearts

In the final day of the eighth Crown Prince Camel Festival 2026, Saudi camels emerged victorious in 131 races, securing the top spot at the historic Taif Camel Racing Track. The Saudi camels dominated the event, triumphing in 47 Haqayeq category races, 21 Laqaya races, 15 Jadh a races, and 9 Thanaya races, amounting to 92 wins. They also claimed 35 victories in the Saudi Production category and four in the Camel Owners Race.

Emirati camels secured the second position with 35 wins, while Qatari camels followed closely with 27 wins. Kuwaiti and Omani camels each secured three wins, and Bahraini camels triumphed in one race. The event, organized by the Saudi Camel Federation under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, concluded tomorrow with the final races in the Hail and Zamoul categories, where the Bunduq and Sword prizes will be awarded.
