Suspect arrested after robbery in Starehe, Nairobi

A suspect has been apprehended in relation to a reported robbery that took place along General Waruinge Road in Starehe Sub-County, Nairobi. The National Police Service (NPS) disclosed that officers from Pangani Police Station swiftly responded to the incident after receiving information. An undercover team pursued the fleeing suspects and intercepted one individual.

Following a search of the suspect, police recovered a stolen Tecno Spark mobile phone and a crude weapon - identified as a penknife. The complainant positively identified the mobile phone, linking it to the incident. The NPS has not disclosed the identity of the arrested person of interest, as investigations continue. The recovered items will be processed as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the reported robbery.
