SECCCUL Opens 24-Hour Banking In Ashaiman

Sege Community Co-operative Credit Union Limited (SECCCUL) has inaugurated a new 24-hour branch in Ashaiman to offer financial security services round the clock. Ashaiman, a bustling commercial town with improved safety measures, houses numerous three-shift public workers who require financial transactions at any given time. Zakari Ahumah Adjovu, the General Manager of the over three-decade-old co-operative credit union, stated that SECCCUL aims to capitalize on Ashaiman's enhanced security to provide convenient 24-hour financial services to its members.

Located in the West Ada District, SECCCUL's Ashaiman branch marks the seventh location in Greater Accra Region's vibrant business centers, including Kasseh, Anyamam, Akplabanya, Tsopoli, and Big Ada.

The Ashaiman branch joins a range of products and services, such as shareholdings, savings, loans, fixed deposits, mobile banking, mobile money services, and life protection and long-term security (LPP&LSI) for customers. Mr. Zakari believes that SECCCUL's strategic location will enable customers from nearby areas like Atadeka, Lebanon, Zenu, Katamanso, and central Ashaiman to benefit from the 24-hour financial services.

Customers are encouraged to apply for responsible loans to start or expand their businesses, as timely loan repayment will help other members as well.

SECCCUL appealed to the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly to address the challenging conditions in front of the new banking hall by tarring the dusty and poor-quality stretch. This improvement would benefit not only SECCCUL but also the surrounding residents and businesses. Freeman Tsekpo, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ashaiman, expressed excitement over the arrival of the first private financial business offering 24-hour services within the municipality.

He emphasized that this development could transform Ashaiman and generate additional employment opportunities. Mr. Tsekpo invited more businesses and investors to Ashaiman, taking advantage of the area's booming commercial environment and improved safety.
