Polish authorities say they found a Russian drone on the country’s territory

A Russian drone was discovered on a Polish beach near Jarosławiec, according to Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He stated that a preliminary examination revealed the drone to be of Russian origin and that emergency services were attending to the scene. Poland's Armed Forces Operational Command reported that they had not detected any breaches of national airspace since July 31.

Command spokesperson Jacek Goryszewski told PolsatNews that the incident could not currently be linked to an attack by the Russian Federation. Russian forces had attacked a gas station near the Yahodyn border crossing and a passenger train on the Kyiv-Warsaw railway line on September 13, resulting in two injuries at the gas station and no injuries on the train.
