The Brewers, currently holding the best record in Major League Baseball with a 93-57 record, have already won the first two games of their series against the Cincinnati Reds. They still lead the National League Central Division by ten games and have clinched a postseason spot.

With only 12 games remaining in the regular season, the Brewers are also set to secure their fourth consecutive division title. Manager Pat Murphy has been strategic in benching struggling relievers, indicating the team's focus on winning each game. The Brewers' ace, Jacob Misiorowski, is the top choice to start the first game of the series against the Pirates.

Misiorowski, who is currently 14-5 with a 1.95 ERA, has a strong chance of winning the NL Cy Young Award and is on track to set a new single-season pitching record. Joining Misiorowski, Logan Henderson, the team's second-best starting pitcher, is also expected to start the second game when the Brewers face the Pirates. Henderson, who is 10-3 with a 2.34 ERA, has yet to allow more than three earned runs in any of his starts.

The fourth starter in the lineup will likely be Dustin May, a recently acquired player from the deadline trade who has shown promise, finishing his previous game with no runs allowed and six strikeouts.
