The individual, known as Hank, modeled a 3D object on his computer and then interacted with a 3D printing system across the room, seemingly throwing the 3D model to start the printing process.

Hank humorously remarked, "I've never felt more like Tony Stark," expressing his delight in the technology. The demonstration showcased the use of a Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer equipped with an AMS 2 multi-material system, a device that Hank integrated with his Meta Quest 3 headset. The integration between the two pieces of hardware was made possible through an API provided by the Bambu Lab printers, which Hank utilized to create a web server that connected his PC, the Meta Quest 3 headset, and the 3D printer.

This innovative setup allowed Hank to control the 3D printer remotely using the Meta Quest 3. Hank's project was further enhanced by the assistance of OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra model, which he used to reverse engineer Super Smash Bros Melee for use with the Meta Quest 3 headset, enabling VR controls. Hank's innovative project has garnered interest from other Bambu Lab 3D printer users who have Meta Quest headsets, as they expressed desire to replicate Hank's integration.

The software engineer mentioned that the code for the integration would be shared online if there was sufficient interest, pending some code polishing.
