Lanterns Season 1, Episode 5 Review & Recap: "Lights Out"

Lanterns Season 1, Episode 5, titled "Lights Out," is a wild ride for the series, marking the grand climax of the 2016 storyline. As Laura Linney's Lianna describes, it's a "shitstorm" moment for the series, where the characters are on opposite sides of the battle tearing Rushville apart. The tension and character conflicts fuel the episode, as Hal and John find themselves on opposite sides.

While Hal remains cautious with his Green Lantern constructs, the larger scale of the episode is appreciated. The episode also explores the relationship between Hal and John, with Hal betraying John and orchestrating a massacre for his personal benefit.
