KP Establishes Pakistan’s First AI and Digital Institute

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Elementary and Secondary Education Department has set up Pakistan's inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Institute to bolster the utilization of cutting-edge technology within the province's education sector. This institute aims to champion AI-driven solutions and catalyze the digital transformation of the department.

A seven-member team has been assembled to craft technical frameworks and guidelines for this initiative. Additionally, the institute will scrutinize existing systems and propose strategies to minimize manual processes across the department. Its primary objective involves creating advanced digital applications to enhance transparency and service delivery in the education sector.

This development is part of KP government's larger initiative to promote the adoption of AI and digital technology in education.
