Internet Starts Recovering in More Areas Across Azad Kashmir

Internet services are gradually returning in various parts of Azad Kashmir. While DSL and mobile internet connections are now permitted in several districts, others continue to struggle with service restrictions. Neelum, Bhimber, and Mirpur districts have seen the broadest connectivity returns, with DSL and 3G/4G services fully operational in Upper and Lower Neelum. However, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, and Mirpur divisions still face significant internet limitations.

Muzaffarabad district has fully reinstated DSL services, but 3G and 4G mobile internet remain unavailable. Jhelum Valley district has also seen DSL service return, though 3G and 4G mobile data remain suspended. Leepa Valley is an exception, with uninterrupted DSL and 3G/4G services continuing unimpeded.

Rawalakot and Sudhnoti districts remain largely unaffected, with internet services only available via specific points like CMH Rawalakot, MTBC Hospital Abbaspur, and a few private companies. Bagh district has limited DSL availability in urban areas only, with no 3G or 4G service expected until the next review. Kotli district permits DSL access only for select sectors such as education, banks, civil administration, police, and military offices.

Bhimber and Mirpur districts, however, continue to enjoy fully functional DSL and 3G/4G mobile internet services across all areas. The restoration of internet services across Azad Kashmir continues, though progress remains uneven across the region.
