India News Live, 14 September 2026: CJP to join Maharashtra jobs stir, protesters visit Abhijit Dipke

The Cockroach Janta Party, led by Abhijeet Dipke, has pledged to join rallies by Maharashtra Public Service Commission aspirants protesting alleged paper leaks and irregularities in online examinations. This announcement came after a meeting with Dipke at his Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar residence, where MPSC aspirants expressed their grievances.

The CJP vowed to continue the agitation, demanding the resignation of the MPSC chairman and secretary, and threatened a state-wide tour to meet aspirants if their demands were not met by September 24. Dipke stated that the party would remain steadfast until their demands were fulfilled. Meanwhile, Thane Police apprehended approximately 65 individuals during a raid on an unauthorized gathering at the KD Residency Hotel in Kalyan on Sunday, following intelligence reports of loud music, alcohol consumption, and potential illegal activities.

Police have registered a case against seven organizers for hosting the party without necessary permissions and are investigating possible narcotics use and illicit substance distribution. Medical examinations and CCTV footage analysis are currently in progress to identify those who may have fled during the disturbance.
