Gov Lawal: We’ll Back Tinubu Beyond 100% In 2027

Zamfara State's Governor, Dauda Lawal, has pledged unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's campaign for a second term in office in 2027. During a meeting at the Government House in Gusau, Lawal and other stakeholders discussed the importance of rallying support for the Tinubu 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, led by Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar.

Lawal characterized Yari as a "son of the soil," urging stakeholders to cooperate and support the campaign. The governor expressed his intention to go "beyond 100 percent" in backing Tinubu's re-election bid, vowing to collaborate with all stakeholders. Yari, in his address, highlighted the significance of engaging community leaders in mobilising support for Tinubu.

Despite not being politicians, many present at the meeting held influential positions within their communities and were respected by their constituents. Yari emphasized that the campaign council would continue to work with these stakeholders and community leaders to build momentum for Tinubu's presidential campaign in 2027.
