Global Village confirms October opening date

Dubai's Global Village announces its opening date for the 31st season, which will commence on October 14. The open-air park is scheduled to close for the summer in May. Last year, Global Village celebrated its 30th season with 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, more than 3,500 shopping outlets, and up to 200 rides and games.

Season 30 saw the return of three key attractions: Gardens of the World, Dragon Kingdom, and The Little Wonderers at Carnaval. The Main Stage was expanded, Fiesta Street was extended, and the former Railway Market was transformed into Dessert District. Organizers have promised a series of "thrilling additions" and new experiences for guests, marking a significant evolution since the park's inception in 1997.

Initially a modest collection of kiosks along Dubai Creek, Global Village has expanded from a temporary location on the creek to a permanent destination near Exit 37 on Sheikh Zayed Road. Ticket prices typically range from Dh25 per person on weekdays to Dh30 on weekends, with reduced rates for children under three, seniors aged 65 and above, and people with special needs. Tuesdays are designated for ladies and families, except on public holidays.
