Etihad unveils new A330neo cabins at ATM 2026

Dubai's Etihad Airways unveiled new cabin configurations and a broader guest experience strategy at the Arabian Travel Market 2026 (ATM 2026). The airline introduced a three-cabin layout on its upcoming Airbus A330 fleet, featuring four private First suites, fully lie-flat Business seats, and upgraded Economy cabins.

The First suite offers four inches of additional pitch and includes a 32-inch screen, wireless charging, a personal powder station, and a dedicated storage area. Passengers can dine or socialize with a companion in the First suite, which also features a closing door and a 32-inch screen.

The Business cabin will have 24 forward-facing, fully lie-flat seats, each with direct aisle access, a sliding door, and a 17.3-inch screen. Economy cabins will have 252 seats, including a dedicated 32-seat Extra Legroom section.

Etihad's Beyond Borders strategy extends beyond the aircraft and cabins, encompassing lounges, dining, amenities, wellbeing, and connectivity. The airline plans to invest $20 billion in new aircraft and customer experiences over the next five years, including a $1 billion fleet retrofit program.

Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves highlighted that the A330 will bring the Beyond Borders concept to Etihad's regional and medium-haul widebody network. The airline intends to increase the First Class seat count across its fleet through new aircraft and retrofit programs, building on the success of First suites on its A321LR aircraft.
