Deputy PM lays stone for Sheikh Tamim Innovation Centre at Sandhurst

London saw a meeting on Monday between HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Qatar, and HE Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the UK House of Commons Defense Committee. The gathering took place at the British Parliament building in the capital.

During the discussion, the two officials explored the strong bilateral ties and strategic partnership between their respective nations, with a focus on military and defense cooperation. They explored avenues for strengthening and expanding these relations.

Beyond their bilateral dialogue, the meeting addressed several shared regional and international concerns, with an emphasis on bolstering security and stability in the area. The session was graced by the presence of HE Ambassador of Qatar to the United Kingdom, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani, alongside committee representatives from both sides, alongside several senior military personnel and officials.
