Colt Keith scratched from Tigers lineup, Hao-Yu Lee to start vs Jays

Hinch explained that Keith experienced some discomfort on Sunday when he hit a fence and got twisted in a net, leading to some swelling.

Keith's condition is expected to be day-to-day. Meanwhile, the Tigers activated Keider Montero from the paternity list and optioned right-hand pitcher Yilber Diaz to Triple-A Toledo. Montero is set to start on Wednesday, while Diaz will report to Triple-A for further action. Following the game, Hinch stated that McGonigle should be considered for the American League Rookie of the Year award, citing his consistency and performance throughout the season.
