Chief gives land for new fire station at Jongshegu in Tamale

The Paramount Chief of Bamvim, Naa Abdulai Ziblim, has donated a one-acre plot of land in Jongshegu, Tamale, for the construction of a new fire station. This land will be utilized by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to enhance emergency response capabilities in the rapidly expanding suburb and surrounding areas.

A delegation from the GNFS, headed by the Northern Regional Commander ACFOI Joseph Koranteng, visited the site to officially accept the donation. They expressed their gratitude to the chief for his commitment to public safety and acknowledged the gesture as a prime example of collaboration between traditional authorities and state institutions.

Chief Naa Abdulai Ziblim affirmed his dedication to development projects that protect his constituents. He urged stakeholders to support the GNFS to ensure the timely completion of the new fire station project. The fire service stated that they would initiate the necessary procedures to transform the donated land into a state-of-the-art fire station that will serve Jongshegu and its surrounding communities.
