CBI Files FIR In Sushant Singh Rajput's Ex-Manager Disha Salian's Death Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a First Information Report (FIR) on Monday into the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, following a directive from the Bombay High Court to conduct a thorough investigation. Salian was found dead on June 8, 2020, just days before Rajput's death at his Bandra residence.

Her death had previously been classified as an Accidental Death Report (ADR). The Bombay High Court directed the CBI to register the FIR and investigate the circumstances of Salian's death after hearing concerns raised by her family, who alleged she was murdered. The court noted that copies of the post-mortem report and the ADR had not been provided to Salian's family for five years.

Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, provided investigators with details of the events surrounding his daughter's death, including the names of individuals he wanted authorities to examine. He expressed confidence that the proceedings would begin soon. Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, welcomed the CBI inquiry into Salian's case, stating that it had given hope to many of Rajput's followers.
