Caleb Williams and Bears trounce Panthers 59-37 in highest-scoring season opener in NFL history

On Sunday, the Chicago Bears faced off against the Carolina Panthers in a game that marked the highest-scoring season opener in NFL history. Caleb Williams led the Bears to victory with 269 passing yards and 65 rushing yards, scoring a total of four touchdowns. Williams also contributed 196 passing yards in the first half, including a crucial 22-yard touchdown pass to Cole Kmet.

Running back D Andre Swift added 124 yards on 18 carries and three touchdowns, while running back Kyle Monangai rushed for 100 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown run.
