Buildots Raises $130M to Scale Construction Intelligence

Construction intelligence startup Buildots has successfully raised $130 million in new funding to expand its AI-powered platform. The round was led by O.G. Venture Partners, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Mohari Ventures, Human Capital, Qumra Capital, Avigdor Willenz, Viola Growth, Poalim Equity, and others. This brings Buildots' total funding to $297 million.

The company's AI platform turns physical construction sites into digital twins by analyzing data from site footage and combining it with schedules and 3D models. This provides construction leaders with real-time visibility into project execution, helping them identify risks earlier and manage resources more effectively. Over 100 major companies, including Intel, Digital Realty, JE Dunn, and Mortenson, already use Buildots' platform.

The surge in demand for construction intelligence stems from the rapid growth of AI infrastructure, particularly in data centres, which require precise execution and can face significant financial consequences if delays occur. Buildots' platform has helped customers identify problems earlier, allocate resources more efficiently, and keep projects on track.

Following the funding, Buildots plans to expand its reach across North America and Europe, deepen coverage across the entire construction lifecycle, and move into business-level intelligence. The company aims to become a core operational system for large construction organizations, helping them manage projects more systematically and predictably. With the new capital, Buildots expects increased demand for its platform as AI infrastructure construction continues to grow.
