British rockers Oasis announce tour dates in Paris, Munich, Barcelona and Rome

London, September 14 (Reuters) - Iconic British rock group Oasis has unveiled a 38-date tour schedule for 2027, spanning Britain, Ireland, mainland Europe, and the United States. The announcement aims to prevent a repeat of the ticketing issues encountered during their 2025 comeback concert. The band, fronted by the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, intends to provide fans with a stable ticketing process.

Standard ticket prices for the tour will fall between £71.50 ($96.50) and £266.60. In an official statement, Oasis expressed excitement about the return to the stage, emphasizing their goal to lift people's spirits. The band, known for chart-toppers like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger," will commence their European tour with performances in Glasgow in May, followed by a homecoming in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium.

Subsequent stops include Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, and Slane Castle in Ireland. The tour wraps up with four dates in Knebworth, England, where they will play in venues where they once attracted over 250,000 attendees in 1996. The Gallagher brothers' reunion in 2024 sparked a surge in ticket sales, leading to long queues and rising prices.

However, their comeback in Cardiff received positive reviews, with critics praising their enduring talent. A documentary chronicling the reunion tour, titled "Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger," premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month.
