However, they lag behind in tasks requiring complex reasoning, coding, and general knowledge. The size of the model is a significant factor, with top foreign models having hundreds of billions to trillions of parameters, compared to Thai models which have 7,000 to 72,000 million parameters. Experts suggest using a combination of both Thai and foreign models for different tasks.
