Adityanath warns against police negligence, seeks action against erring officials

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh - Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cautioned that police misconduct will not be tolerated during a public hearing on Monday. Aggrieved individuals from multiple districts presented grievances, leading the CM to demand swift action against officials responsible for lapses. Police Commissioners, ADGs, IGs, DIGs, and SSP-level officers are urged to focus on addressing police station, outpost, and beat-level negligence.

Adityanath emphasized the importance of following proper procedures and taking disciplinary action when necessary. Additionally, the government is committed to efficiently resolving revenue and law and order matters. The chief minister stressed that genuine citizen concerns will be addressed with sensitivity and expediency. He also urged officials to ensure eligible individuals receive welfare scheme benefits and proper medical care for those in need.

Strict action against illegal landowners and influential persons occupying land will be taken. Adityanath also inquired about the well-being of young children present at the hearing, asking about their studies and interests. He advised them to prioritize education while engaging in activities like sports, music, and art.
