The Central Market x Stormies Oktoberfest returns for its fourth edition
Time to dust off your lederhosen because Central Market’s three-week beer party is back
The Central Market is transforming into a Munich-style beer hall for the fourth annual 'Central Market x Stormies Oktoberfest' festival, running from October 8 to 31. Festival attendees can expect three weeks of stein-clinking, Bavarian music, and traditional food.
The event kicks off in the Oasis space with German band Die Notenhobler playing folk tunes. Festival-goers can participate in three Oktoberfest competitions: the Mighty Mug Hold Challenge, where participants hold a full stein for as long as possible; the Drinking Challenge, a race to finish a liter of beer; and the Balloon Burst Bonanza, a timed balloon popping contest.
Stormies and Chef's Market have teamed up to serve authentic Munich dishes. Chefs Angelo McDonnell and Jörn Henninger will prepare roasted pork knuckles, grilled Nuremberg sausages, and apple strudel to pair with Löwenbräu or Franziskaner Weissbier. Traditional foods like schnitzel and pretzels will also be available.
Family-friendly activities are scheduled for Sundays from 3pm to 7pm. Die Notenhobler will perform German children's songs, while face painting, craft workshops, and game booths keep younger guests entertained. Kids can enjoy their own stein-style mugs and discounted tickets, which include juice, mini burgers, fries, gelato, and a souvenir mug and hat set.
Adult tickets start at $200, which includes a 500ml beer glass, a main course, a souvenir mug, and a festive hat. Passes can be purchased online or through the Chef's Market mobile app.
