Storm Cellar: All-22 Review of MIAMI HURRICANES O-Line vs. FAMU Rattlers
The Miami O-Line had a much improved game and it wasn’t just the talent drop across the field.
The Miami Hurricanes' offensive line showed significant improvement in the run game during their Week Two matchup against the FAMU Rattlers, according to a review by Yahoo Sports. SJ Alofaituli demonstrated notable progress in his technique, particularly on second level defenders, by staying square and working through linebackers rather than turning his shoulder and missing assignments.
However, the highly anticipated performance of Elija Lofton, the talented tight end, fell short in the run game as he struggled to make assignments and was consistently beaten by FAMU's edge players. Hunter Cantwell and Ryan Rodriguez also contributed positively, with Cantwell enhancing his overall performance and Rodriguez improving his snap accuracy.
