Kylian Mbappe scored twice as Real Madrid defeated Rayo Vallecano 4-1 in La Liga on Saturday, leveling the points with Barcelona at the top of the table. Jose Mourinho's side bounced back from a loss to Real Betis with a convincing win over their local rivals. Rayo Vallecano, currently 15th in the table, had opportunities to equalize but could not capitalize. Mourinho brought on Turkish midfielder Arda Guler to help stabilize the team, which he praised for their improved performance in the second half.
